What happens with awesome action reports? Awesome rewards! Congrats to Curtiss League member Elizabeth Burns Thompson (’11 ag business), named the 2019  “Emerging Iowa Leader,” awardee by the college. Elizabeth was honored during the CALS Growing Leaders Women’s Basketball Game in February.

Curtiss League members have been busy highlighting CALS news and initiatives through social media via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Student Recruitment and Retention


Student recruitment and retention are important to CALS. Curtiss League members have reached out to incoming CALS students to welcome them to Iowa State University, spoken to Iowa State University classes, or filled out the Curtiss League postcard.
