Program: 12 p.m.

ISU Women’s Basketball Game vs. Oklahoma: 2 p.m.

The college will be featured throughout the ISU Women’s Basketball game, including an on-court award presentation of the 2020 CALS Emerging Iowa Leader, Jacob Handsaker (’04 ag studies), farmer and co-owner of Hands-On Excavating.

CALS Alumni Relations Director Melea Licht with guests RSVP’s are due Friday, January 31 by completing the online form, or contacting Haley Cook, hcook@iastate.edu, 515-294-0705. Please include the number of guests attending and specific dietary requirements.

Food and Beverage:


Light appetizers will be served during the pre-game reception at the ISU Alumni Center. Special accommodations for dietary requirements will be made with advance notice. Please specify dietary needs when filling out the online form.

Discounted basketball tickets ($3 per ticket) are available online through ISU Athletics. Tickets may also be purchased by calling the ISU Athletics ticket office at 888-478-2925.

Location/Parking:


Location: The reception takes place in the Iowa State Center Scheman Building (1805 Center Drive, Ames, Iowa 50011). The facility is located west of Hilton Coliseum in the Iowa State Center Complex. Guests will be able to walk to Hilton Coliseum via the connected walk-way on the first floor or via the ground floor entrance.  

Parking: Complimentary parking is available in Lot B1 on the north side of the Scheman Building (parallel with Lincoln Way). Please indicate to the parking attendants you are part of the CALS reception to receive access to the parking lot.
